Add A Recessed Cabinet to Your Kitchen
If you have an empty wall in your kitchen, add an open recessed cabinet to display and store your herbs and spices. To add an interesting touch, take the herbs and spices out of the store-bought containers and put them into more decorative containers such as decorative tins or matching jars.
Of course you will need to label them and there are many creative ways to do the labels. You can simply use tab labels from an office supply store and creatively type or write the names on them before attaching to the new containers.
Even if you can’t install a recessed cabinet, you can easily add a shelf or shelves to your kitchen to serve the same purpose. You can paint your shelves a coordinating color or stain them to coordinate with wood cabinets.
