KCMA Standards and Testing

KCMA offers a voluntary certification and performance testing program.  In this testing environment, cabinetry is put through a battery of tests which simulate years of typical household use.

The tests measure the structural integrity of the cabinet, finishes, as well as the stability and durability of doors, drawers, and hinges.  Kitchen cabinets bearing the KCMA certification seal are recognized as quality cabinets which passed standards set forth by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Look for ANSI seal when purchasing your new kitchen cabinets to make sure you’re getting the highest quality possible.
