Stepping Out with Kitchen Cabinets

Fluted step outs are areas which create an outward curve between one of set of cabinets and the next. The flute is a horizontally grooved section of wood which normally begins at the end of one section of cabinetry and “steps” or rounds over to the beginning of another set of cabinetry which sits a bit farther out.
